My name
is Melissa, I'm Kim's twin sister. That is how I met Jascha. I've
known of him since Jascha and Kim went to Israel together in high
school, but didn't officially meet him until he came down to New Orleans
one year ( I think our sophomore year of college) for Mardi Gras with
his fraternity brothers (Kim and I both went to Tulane). We had a great
time meeting after years of knowing of each other. And as you know well,
one meeting turned into phone calls and letters and we kept in touch for
years. In fact, even when I moved to Los Angeles after college, we still
kept in touch, although sporadically. He had a very close friendship
with my sister Kim, but we always maintained a relationship too. I
have a special place in my heart for him, I was crushed to hear that he
had passed. It was very special for me to go onto the website- thank you
for maintaining something special that we can all view.

thank you for keeping his spirit alive, and giving me a platform to
express my sadness. He had the warmest heart, the most charming smile,
and I miss him.
