I remember bumping into Jascha at Tappawingo's at the end of June in 1999. I was with Rachel and he was with Gabe, Ryan, Carrie and Aurora. I was surprised to see him because I did not even know he was going to be up north. He said it was a last second decision. He had the brightest smile and was so happy to be dining. The food was so wonderful there. He insisted that Rachel and I stop by the cottage at Wallon Lake the following day. Rachel and I did stop by the following day and it was a perfect sunny day and we spent the day on the water swimming, talking and just loving life which was Jascha's specialty. He had such a gift for making everyone feel great around him. Later in the year we both agreed that it was one of our favorite days the whole summer.

Scott Rose -- March 31, 2000

Jascha and I played a lot of tennis together as you may know. I am much more of a golfer now. Last September about 15th or so, we finished playing tennis at Franklin Hills. We walked around back to the parking lot to where we were both parked behind the driving range. It was a very calm night and the place was empty. He wanted me to hit some golf balls. So I take a couple clubs out of my trunk and hit a few balls, he just watched. He explained to me that he really wanted to learn to play better. I said go ahead lets see your action.  I gave him a a couple pointers. He hit a few not so good. Then all of sudden he hit like 5 balls perfect. We laughed. We decided he was a natural and that next Spring we would work on it. I think the coming of Spring made me think of this memory.

I miss my friend dearly. I have such good memories. Jascha and I were just starting to be great friends.
